Winter Arts Festival Draws Record Community Turnout

This year's Winter Arts Festival drew over 800 attendees to the Whitfield Theatre for an evening celebrating Meridian's music, drama, and visual arts programs.

The evening featured performances from the senior orchestra, the middle school jazz ensemble, and scenes from the upcoming spring production, alongside a gallery exhibition of student visual art in the theatre lobby.

"Events like this are why we treat the arts as core curriculum," said the Performing Arts Department Chair. "Every student on that stage tonight has a place here, regardless of their major."
